7pm Amazing Race Challenge

Come join the Amazing Race Challenge – Friday June 21st, on the infield at the Maxville Fairgrounds.

If you’re looking for some fun at the fair and a chance to win $1000, grab your friend, mom, brother, or anyone else aged 14 and up, and sign up for the Amazing Race Challenge. Teams of 2 will compete in some fun games of strategy, balance, and agility, with the overall winner taking home $1000. $75 to the runner-up and $75 to the best dressed team.
Check-in begins at 6:30pm on Friday, June 21st. The race starts at 7pm. We will divide the teams up into groups before the race begins. All teams will do 8 events, then there will be a playoff round.
To register:
1. Send an email to Williekippen@gmail.com with the name of both competitors and your contact information. 14- and 15-year-olds will need a parent present at check-in to sign the consent form.

2. E-transfer $40 for your team of 2 people to kastreasurer2017@gmail.com. Please include “Amazing Race” in the message section of the e-transfer. You will not be considered registered until the e-transfer is accepted. 
Registration is open Saturday, May 4th – Sunday, June 16th. 
*Please note there is no gate fee on Friday night

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Maxville and District Horticultural Society, the Society members will have a display in the Homecraft room in the Complex Hall.  Included in the display will be Horticultural Society yearbooks, pictures of past activities and trips plus pictures of the beautiful flower beds and planters that  are planted and cared for by the members in Maxville and the surrounding area.  Stop by the Complex Hall and view the activities of this very busy volunteer group in our community.
